New dates have been announced for Superbooth 2021 to avoid outright cancellation due to the pandemic.
The event will now take place on 15-18 September 2021, as opposed to taking place in late-April as usual, as a “Safety First Edition”. It will be held at the same venue as previous shows: FEZ Berlin.

Last year, the annual synthesizer exhibition was cancelled in light of COVID-19 and was instead an online event. This year, the four-day “Safety First Edition” will combine “mutual respect, effective vaccination process and everyone being more outdoors”.
With safety restrictions in mind, the exhibition floors will be reduced and Superbooth says it “will probably have a hard time to fulfil all ticket requests”. However, the organisers are determined to make the event happen to cultivate confidence and fun in the music tech world.
Tickets will go on sale in May to allow plenty of time to monitor the situation of the pandemic.
We have our fingers crossed in hope that the event will go ahead and bring some positivity back into music technology.
